hyper 212 is a dual tower design that uses some kind of fan that has the clipping system built into the design of the fan for the use. hyper 212+ uses an entire tower design aka no separated fins and uses a clip system as well as heat pipe direct touch

I'm trying to purchase one of these babies now, and I need help deciding where to get it from
1) Microcenter online = $25 +1.50 tax + 6 shipping they're also backordered according to the email i just received
2) Amazon = $30 but it says shipping in 1 to 3 months; is that true, or just a safety net for them?
3) Provantage = 21.13+6.80 shipping labelled as special item, takes 7-11 days

Provantage is cheapest, but I've never bought from them before, so I'm a little hesitant
Amazon and microcenter are trusted
all-together, all of them have questionable estimates for when i'll get it.

Does anyone have experience buying these recently from any of these vendors?

I got one for a friend's build from newegg a week and a half ago for $30ish including shipping. Dunno why they jumped up in price heh.

Definitely a price gouge. Tiger Direct as well has them for $26 shipped. It's ridiculous for Newegg to be charging more than double that. I feel sorry for the few hundred customers that I'm sure got raped by Newegg on these.
