Before you do that, get a new heatsink and possibly better thermal paste and see how you go from there.

If it's still too hot, sell it off/return it and buy a 1055T 6core and overclock that.

If it doesn't work, move to Alaska.

If that fails/isn't an option, then shoot yourself.

Well I did, and all I saw was you said you used AS5, but I was checking if that was still the case.

Even though I'm sure you're well aware, AS5 needs thermal cycling and has a long cure time. IE: the longer it sits, the better it gets at thermal transfer.

Though, you never mentioned fan speed, nor if you checked your mounting and if it feels loose.

My suggestions would follow:
Pressure Mod the heatsink if it feels loose
Ramp up the fan speed to see if that helps.

Me and my cousin have gone to Fry's so much in the past months they should know us by name and have given us VIP cards by now.

The thing is, it may take awhile to sell it off and I leave in 13 days for a 1-2 month period, and i'm limited on money but once this is finished and i'm happy maybe it'll all be worth it.
Movin' on up.

Well, take Tator's advice and see how it goes. AS5 takes a while to cure (200+ hours for best thermal transfer), this is why I went MX-3.

Sorry about that, fan speed is in the screenshot, I think, and it's at 1800RPM and yes it's on tight as can be.

Fan speed, as read by software, can be a bit ambiguous.

I would hook your fans up to Molex Adapters, or see if you can manually set it in the BIOS and then max out to see IF there is a change.

Though, I've noticed with two fans, most of the time, software has trouble deciphering the actual fan speed, and only gives you a relative number. That is, when two fans are on one channel (header) of a motherboard.
