The stats are real time and update every 10 seconds, or each time you visit/refresh.

I was just visiting the CS department of the college that I'm going to in the fall..they have a 14 node cluster, all running Ubuntu..I think the processors were Pentium 4. Anyway some of the guys showed me their code, and were actually parsing data from the cluster with a college two hours away via SSH. Parallel processing is just badass!

As of now, technically no. The nodes don't have a connection to the internet. For some reason I can get them to connect once, then they will randomly disconnect. Once I solve that, I will get the nodes folding when they're idle.
