Just did the math using the ppd off my 480. 17,000ppd per card x 7=119,000 ppd!!!! THen add about 20k ppd for an i7 running bigadv then you get 139k ppd!!!!!!!

EDIT: an oc'd 980x that is. (at least from some number i vaguely remember seeing someone posting)

Better just use a rad from a Mack truck and and place that in the window with two automotive rad fans......that should keep it all cool

Wouldn't the eVGA SR-2 be more.. practical? Can't you get roughly 100k from the dual Xeon 6-core CPUs alone?

Two big (1200W+) PSU's should do it. There's some cases that accommodate that.

Build Cost:

MOBO: 600
CPU's: 1350 x2= 2700
RAM : 1150 x2= 2300
PSU: ??????
HDD: 400ish for a good setup
CASE: ?????
GPU: 650 x7= 4500

Total so far: 8770 without PSU, CASE OR watercooling supplies.

You also need a 64bit bios.
As I recall 32bit bios' wont recognize more than 6 gpus

Itd be one hell of a machine though.
If i had the cash,
Id do it.
