I was wondering, how do you check if all 4 cores of i7 930 are working? What's a good software for that? Thanks.

Ctrl + Shift + Esc will bring up Windows Task Manager. Select the Performance tab and you should see 8 graphs (4 physical cores x 2 threads per core) side-by-side displaying each thread's performance.
