what games are worth getting right now? - Page 3

I've only played the demo so far, but Split Second is an auto racing game with a twist that I find quite addictive (and I don't usually play auto racing/driver sim games).

Stalker clear sky plus clear sky complete mod = awesome.

If you want a game that you'll be playing for hours on end, go ahead and get Just Cause 2. After you finish the main story it gets a little repetitive, but it's still fun as all heck to run around finding items and "taking over" towns. I bought it when it first came out and play for at least a couple hours every day and I'm only 80% finished! It's well worth the money!

STALKER (any of the three) is a great game too!

EDIT: DevilGear beat me to it!

First of all, you may want to tell us about what kind of games you prefer.

1. For FPS: Possibly something from the Crysis series.
Stalker Series
AVA(Free)

2. Racing: GRID(It's old but it's great)
NFS Shift

3. Others: GTA 4
Serious Sam(haven't played it myself but have heard great things about it)

THIS IS MY FIRST POST BTW.

Buy a PS3 and play all 4 Metal Gear Solid games. If you haven't already, that is.

As far as PC single player games, Bioshock is a nice mix of RPG and Action. Beyond Good and Evil is another great game that never got the credit it deserved. Sort of along the lines of Zelda in play mechanics, but a completely different feel. Oblivion and Fallout 3 are 2 more games you can sink days into and not think twice about it.

These 2 arent brand new, but should be played

Drakensang, its a german RPG, similar in style to D&D games. Its lengthy, and entertaining.

Also. the witcher. It was RPG of the year for a reason, top notch everything, gameplay, graphics, story.
