Looks great! If I didn't love my Microsoft Sidewinder X5 so much I'd get it.

You must be confused.

Also, this review is nothing more then some nice pictures of the features. It would be nice If a hardware review site took their mouse reviews to the next level so it included some very helpful information to buyers.

I have posted this before and ill post it again because i 100% agree with him. We have had authors come here and get feed back before.... well here it is.

YouTube- How to make a mouse review revised
As he mentions;

Lift off distance on hard and soft pads?
Weight?
Maximum tracking speed on hard and soft pads?
Prediction?

ESPECIALLY WITH THIS PHILLIPS SENSOR, DOES IT HAVE Z-AXIS TRACKING?

I love the way it looks, but looks mean nothing if it doesn't function like "The best mouse evar!"

Gonna wait for a review on how that thing compares to others as far as tracking as well.

i've been looking at the rat7 for a while.
apparently it uses the same phillips sensor that's supposed to be garbage.

I wonder if it's gotten better?

Won't happen.

"It's fully adjustable, has weights and its 5600 DPI totally made me pwn in MW2."

That's all you will usually get from these type of reviews.

That's all you ever get from these types of reviews.

1) It is likely the reviewer is absolutely terrible at games.
2) Zero performance spec's, for all we know the sensor malfunctions at 1m/sec.
3) It's a mouse. It's like trying to review pants - just because they fit you doesn't mean they fit everyone.

Buying a mouse based on anything other than performance spec's is, IMO, stupid. Look for a mouse that has a quality sensor and warranty and try it out. See how it fits your hand/playstyle. It's a crap-shoot, but trial and error is the only way.
