Hi i just read your user manual online and it says in the "Advanced BIOS Setup Menu" :-

Spread Spectrum (Should be set to Disabled)
Flexibility Option (should be set to Enabled)

Did'nt know if that helped

yes that should help alot as Spread spectrum is used in testing and has been found out o cause noticeable system deteriation.Heres a good link on how to optimize your bios http://www.tomshardware.com/2001/07/...ing/index.html
