Thread Starter
Im trying to do a 4GHz overclock. I have been to 3.6GHz stable. I make the vcore 1.36v and FSB 400mhz. The multiplier is set for x10 and it just doesn't like it. Computer is very cool...

give her a few extra volts, try a few different combos btwn FSB and MULTI to see if you can find a balance. EG. 11x multi 420 fsb etc.

On my e7500 I hit a wall at 3.7. I was able to get it to 3.9 but I have to turn up the voltage to 1.52. Make sure your ht voltage is at 1.44 or 1.46.

What was your voltage for 3.7? I would not advise keeping the voltage at 1.52.

For the first poster, your chip might not hit 4ghz with any safe voltage range.

No matter what combination I try it ends up being unstable. I had to format 3 times..
