Best SSD for under £100?

Thread Starter
I've had a sudden change of mind, and I've decided to get an SSD.

I know pretty much nothing about SSD's, so I'm relying on you guys to help me.

I've got around £150 to spend, and I'm hoping to get perhaps a 32GB SSD for under £100.

What would you guys reccomend?

For under £100 the 40Gb Intel X25-v is one of the best. Over £100 and you can get 60GB (any of the indilinx drives, Vertex, Agility ect.).

Go for the Intel, you won't regret.
Avoid SSDs with Jmicron chips or Phison - mostly cheap SSDs by Corsair(M series), G.Skills (FM)or Patriot (PS-100) use these inferior controllers.

Check out some American sales. I picked up a Crucial M-225 64GB for £100 on the nose (2nd hand). Got shipped here free and no customs charges as the OCN member wrapped it in Christmas paper so it looked like a present!

You can get some good deals from across the pond!

I got the 30GB OCZ Vertex, couldn't be happier with it, it's nice and fast, and £99.99. Just though I'd throw it in there.

I think the intel one is a better choice tbh. 40gb and for 10 pounds less.

Yeah I know, I was just giving some variation from the Intel-ness of this thread. I like my Vertex, don't see why I shouldn't recommend it.
