What AT&T smartphone?

Looking at the iPhone 4 right now, not sure if there's any decent androids on AT&T right now. Don't want to spend more than $200 with 2 year contract. So, is iPhone the best choice?

No, I will not be switching carriers. Everyone I know is AT&T, so I need the free calling of AT&T numbers.

I don't know if there are any good android phones on AT&T, but from my experience with iPhone, it's very intuitive and easy to use.

The thing with androids is that once you get a version of android, newer versions with better hardware will bound to come out within months, like Motorola Droid, Nexus One, Incredible, and EVO, all that in the past year.

With iPhone, you will know when you get it, it won't be updated hardware wise for at least one year.

^This. There aren't many smartphone options with AT&T. Other than the iPhone, there is the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus.

That's actually a reason I like android. It's improved in a few months as much as it seems the iphone has in years.

Too bad about the one android, and the palms (didn't really care for it). Guess I'll go iPhone, unless there's a subsidized android phone anytime soon. The Streaks not going to be AT&T, is it?

Why aren't there any android's on AT&T?

Get the new Iphone or some kind of Blackberry. The good thing about at&ts new data package is that it allows me to save 25$ of my bill with discounts applied and stuff. I dont use much data with my bb, mainly for email and texting. Not to sure how the new Iphone and new data rates will affect peoples wallets!

They do not have a subsidized android phone, however, there is a nexus one. I am seriously considering it, over my blackberry. The Nexus one is 530 bucks, but I feel it is worth it. It is generally regarded as the best GSM android. It also works on AT&T 3G

I would say Nexus One but you can only buy it unsubsidized so it's a bit out of your budget...but no contract!
