is a purchase always worth the wait??

Thread Starter
im usually quite frugal but i do have my moments. i have a 22" widescreen monitor but i plan to upgrade to a Samsung 40 inch 1080P costing $678

now i have the money to do it now but i was just waiting because im so frugal and i like to look at my bank account and see a nigh available amount

but... as i went to the store to buy a gaming mouse i saw a Samsung 40 inch 1080P tv, display model single sale unit only for $542! a savings of of about $140, i bought it guys, and even though i will have to tighten my belt a little for this week im not at all struggling

so in that situation i think its ok to impulse buy

what do you think??

Wow, seriously, something is screwed up with OCN's headlines... This thread appeared in recent news...

Anyways, onto your question, the price for that TV is excellent.

If you have researched a TV, have the money for it, and then go into a store, and find a better deal, might as well buy it then if you are sure that you cannot find it cheaper. Impulse buying smaller stuff is good too as long as you do not go excessive buying a million 1$ items...

A 40" 1080p display would look kinda bad if you weren't 20 feet away from it. A good 24" 1200p monitor would look much better on a desk or even hung on a wall.

If you were intending to buy it down the line, had the money in hand now, and it was on sale for a decent savings, no reason not to go ahead and pull the trigger.
