Corsair H50 on an AM3 Motherboard Back Bracket HElp

heii i just bought my self and corsair h50 and im trying to install on an am3 motherboard do i keep the metal back bracket or replace it with the one they gave me in the box ??

Read the included instruction manual. It will have instructions for both AMD and Intel sockets.

i was asking doh i have the backplate of the motherboard its metal the one that came with the h50 is plastic do i removed the backplate that the mothercame with or use it ??

Use the AMD Backplate that came with the H50. The Instruction manual shows which one.

ima go buy termal paste for it i thought it came with it whats better to buy at compusa ...

so whats better?? anyways the screws wouldnt go all the way with the bracket i had so w.e but let me ask you when i install the fan whats better to put the fan blowing air out the case or into the case???

The coarse-threaded screws can be used with the metal backplate that came with your AMD mainboard. The fine-threaded screws are for the plastic Corsair backplate's inserts. Which you use is up to you. Personally I used the original metal one so the mainboard didn't have to come out.

As for out or in is also up to you. Out gives better mainboard/video temps (usually), in gives better CPU temps. If you don't have a good exhaust setup, say big or multiple top exhaust fans, run as an exhaust otherwise the heat will really build up in there.

Just use the one that came with the H50. To remove the old metal one, unscrew the 4 screw on the front of the mobo where the stock cooler clips on to.

ight i did all that now i gotta install the fan i wana know whats better blowing air in or out in total with the h50 i got 8 fans in my case two small ones blowing fast air out the case 2 on the bottm blowing fast air in. and 1 2 blowing towars my HDD
and on the Side door one blowing air in. big 120mm all the other are the 80 mm i think the really fast ones.
