gtx470 fan control inverted ? :S

Well, my GTX470 have been working well, aswell as MSI Afterburner controling the fans..
everything was fine untill now i noticed the fan to be loud as hell while temps were still low.. opened up gpu-z and noticed fan speed to be reported as 30%, ~3700rpm, then i opened MSI afterburner and set fan control to manual mode, and increasing the percentage decreases fan speed if i set it to 100% fan, gpuz says 100% fan aswell, but its ~350RPM, and if i set to 25%, it gets over 4000RPM it was fine this morning.. the computer were just idling whole day here and now i returned to my computer to find this reversed fan I had a smiliar issue on my 8800GT a few times, but a reboot fixed it..

oh, and, i also tried ASUS smart doctor etc to controll the fan, they were reversed aswell..

I have the 257.15 drivers and afterburner 1.6.0 final

I see three threads saying this same thing this morning. All 3 of you are using AB, but you are the only one that listed the version. I'm going to think it's AB 1.6 final since I'm running 1.6 beta 6 and I haven't seen this problem.

I have the same problem so, i'll respond here instead of the topic i made.
I'm using Afterburner 1.6 Final aswell, but as you've used the beta and had the same problem its probably not Afterburner.

We both use a Asus card, could it be possible that the bios is causing it?

I have attached my bios to this post for anyone who thinks it could be the cause
