Spend $10 more and get the Antec TruePower New TP-650 650W PSU. Performs better than the TX650, and is partially modularized.

Alright, done. Mind if I ask though, what are the benefits of modulation?

Edit: Nevermind, read around and I think imma go modular since that'll make cable management easier. How's this one look?: link

Okay, just a few more things:
1. Should I be worried about a 5850 not fitting in that case?
2. Do I need thermal paste?
3. New PSU okay (previous post)?

you're building something very similar to me, so I'll just post some things I noticed.
the ASUS P7p55d-e pro can be newegg comboed with the Corair HX 650W modular PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.418893

also, I believe that case can be comboed with a seasonic PSU if that's your choice. (might be wrong, don't quote me on this)

if you're not comboing that ram you posted, take a look at this RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231321 though it costs more, it also has lower power settings for CAS7

I admit i barely know about thermal paste, but from what i understand, don't use thermal paste that comes in the package. seems arctic silver 5 is a popular choice.

5850 should fit in case

To be honest I hadn't even taken a look at what I could combo, thanks a lot! I'm guessing they change them around a lot though, so I won't incorporate combo'd stuff until I'm ready to order the parts in around 3 weeks or so.

Also, this thermal compound is better, I just wanted to know if I needed it at all or not, but I guess that's a stupid question.
