Tessellation is not the only new feature of DX11.

Look at this interview here:

Crytek head says:

“If it runs okay on PC, but not 360 and PS3 yet,” said Yerli, ... “we don’t do it.”
And tessellation most definitely does not run on consoles. And from all the video's I've seen, it definitely isn't being used, either.

Just cause you love crysis 2 doesn't mean you can't crap on the thread. I am talking about this BS.

And you call me the broken record right? That's like what, the 3rd thing you've managed to contradict yourself about?

1)Call me childish and tell me to "grow up" even though you're the one throwing a fit like a 3 year old on an internet forum about a video game with name calling of all things lol
2)You say I'm wrong even though you were the one wrong to begin with, acting like the story had nothing to do with the first one.
3)You call me a broken record even though you yourself have been doing nothing but repeating the same stupid, irrelevant, childish "insults" that have no effect what-so-ever.

Oh look, I've found a 4rth now:
4)You've completely circumvented the conversation by ignoring everything I've been saying and just simply calling me names and how I'm "oh so pathetic and can't handle being called names."
Yeah, trolls and/or people who were wrong to begin with and can't admit it on an internet forum tend to do that. I find this.... method to be quite common among the fanboys and people who just can't handle something because they had nothing to stand on to begin with. I can't explain how many times this has come across, where they just spill out the same stuff over and over and begin to ignore the entire focus of the argument. Instead - it's all silly kindergarten stuff like "pathetic" and "douche" that would make a little kid laugh. The only thing pathetic is that.

If you think I "can't handle it" then why have you done exactly the 4 things Ive listed above, and haven't managed to justify one of them yet?
Troll baby, troll.

And if that doesn't say "dumbed down console port" then Idk wut does....Well, it does say that actually... I don't see any way around it.

Well yeah I know it's not the only new thing but - it's the big hitter you know?
Most people think DX11 - it's tessellation they think of first no? Or is that just me?

Actually, technically speaking, the Xbox 360 is in fact capable of tessellation. It just isn't used because of the demand it puts on the console. Nothing to do with DX11. If I recall correctly that is. I'm fairly certain it can in some manner. But I see what you're saying. It's a shame, I agree.

I just can't see them ~not~ doing something that is clearly possible because the engine allows it, and it's expectancy on the PC.

Awesome Can't wait!
Anyone know who did the background music?! I could've sworn it was John Petrucci from Dream Theater on guitar (it was almost identicle to his style of playing). Plus I'd like to know as it sounded awesome and I want to get it (sorry if it has been said before but I didn't really want to sift through 7 pages)

Looks like the video was made on the PC version using a controller. Either that or the kid playing doesn't know how to aim.
