PC still wont post

Thread Starter
Ok I just got a new antec psu back from rma. It was appearently dead as the video card led was red and now is green so the psu is good I think. I also have a brand new motherboard (P5Q Turbo Pro) and everything plugged in 4 pin at the top, 24 pin on side it starts and fans spin but no post. Im starting to get pissed and want to just throw this pos out window haha. I tried disconnecting all drives have no video card in and no ram and still no beeps. Im about to see if a cpu reseat does the trick but anything im missing? I mean it should be firing right up idk why I always have such bad luck.

UPDATE: Just got the motherboard back from RMA and got everything installed. NO POST!!! So I take out ram still no post. The cpu was tested and works, the power supply gives correct voltage and is brand new from rma, the motherboard lights up green fans spin and everything I don't understand what the problem is. Im ready to just throw it out the window and build a new hex amd system....

ps I tried both vga and dvi inputs just in case cable was bad.

EDIT: I just realized this pos is my first motherboard to not have a post speaker. What idiots not putting one in NO cases have a speaker. How can I get the codes without having to buy a speaker?

It sounds like you're doing all the right things.

If the CPU re-seat isn't it, then if you can prove this PSU on another machine, there's no choice but to RMA the board.

Reset CMOS?
Don't rule out a dead cpu either....psu failures can destroy anything.Remove the GPU and RAM,if no beeps, then it's the mobo/cpu or both.good luck.
