I'm thinking the mobo may not support this chip afterall, yet...im assuming a bios release may fix that shortly?

the asus website says only upto 8xx on it's current list, and last bios update was like 07/05...but it does say two CPU's when the PC boots ..

I have to agree with you there matey , only good thing I found from the x64 O/S is the quick installation time -10mins , but jesus...What a pile of **** , Driver issues being the main problem right enough, i suppose if you got yourself (if possible) 64bit driver support for your hardware before installation it might help a little ,.. i stress " A LITTLE" . Stay away 32bit O/S ftw at the mo i'd have to say , just hope vista is'nt a let down

good move, how it the tia-chi cooling working for you . i gutted mine before even trying it . i did reuse the heater core door but barded it for 3/8 tube and added a couple 120.1 copper Rads.I was thinking danger den full coverage crossfire so i can dissipate about a kilowatt of heat.

btw, dude dont get into CC trouble for parts, get a cash advance on CC then a casino and win money then pay the CC bill and buy the parts with the winnings. **** wake th f up
