S-ATA and S-ATA II question

Thread Starter
Hi guyz and lads,

I am going to sell my 2 x 120GB Maxtor IDE HD Drives and was thinking of getting 2 x 80GB Western Digital S-ATA II HD Drives and configure them in Raid 0. The only problem is that the motherboard does not suppost S-ATA II, only till S-ATA I, will buying S-ATA II (for future updates) work on a S-ATA I board?

Cheers
