Memory Decision

Which should i use, my 1 gig of http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231012 or the 1 gig of that plus my old stick of 512. The other stick of 512 has to run at timings of about 2.5-4-4-8 or so. Is the extra 500 ram more important than the timings? (Keep in mind, all i do is game on this pc)

Yep, just stick with 1GB that you have and keep the lower latencies.

If you're going to OC much at all, I'd stay with 2 sticks. AMDs don't like more than that.

No dont use the 512mb stick. Without it you can run dual channel which will give you better performance compaired to 1.5GB.

The situation you're in creates a tradeoff, but not the one you're considering. If you don't use the extra stick, your machine is reliant on your hard drive for the extra 512 mb of storage. Any ram is intensely faster than any hard drive. On the downside, if you use that ram, you'll lose dual channel and the sticks will have to run at the highest latencies of the 3 modules. Overall, if you're playing old games, I'd run without the extra ram. However, if you're running somewhat newer games, I'd use the extra ram. You only lose maybe 3% in actual gameplay performance losing dual channel, but that's nothing compared to what you gain from saving a hard drive read.
