Here are my results. Put this on an Asus P8H67 board running Server 2008

Eventually, I will migrate my Areca 1231 with 6 1TB RE3 drives running RAID 5 over to it as well.

I am a little confused. I read the "Sandforce warning" on the main post...should I not attempt this benchmark? I have a Vertex 2.

Is there a chance of messing my drive up?

Thanks,

You can run it. Just make sure you don't run it like five times a day.

Is the Sandforce disclaimer only valid for this benchmark, or is there danger by running the other benches as well (CrystalMArk,ATTO,HDtune,etc...)?

BTW arent most drives Sandforce driven anyway? What are you trying to measure using ASSSD?

I think the warning is there because if you run sandforce in raid0 and you loose Trim then AS SSD or crystalmark write a lot data to the disk and your performance might get down. Also is to prevent from a heart attack when you dont reach the paper stats for sandforce drives specialy the new 25nm version and low capacity drives from OCZ.

I guess I got a newer version of AS SSD, hope that doesn't matter.

Love this SSD now that I got everything tweaked and fixed. (Many thanks to OCN members)
