???? What the hell? How can your read be this fast and your writes be this slow? Are you reading from a ram drive and writing to a HDD?

2 xSATA 6.0 Gb/s ports (navy blue)

So you should be using gray or blue ports and NOT navy blue. I would even disable Marvell controller in BIOS to speed up the boot time. Also, just a note - you lose TRIM support when running SSDs in RAID array, which can cause reduction in performance over time.

SATA II = SATA 3 Gb/s
SATA III = SATA 6 Gb/s
Thanks. Would of checked myself but I'm at working right now.
I know I lose TRIM support but I don't mind doing a fresh install of windows every few months.

That information is also found in the motherboard owners manual/user's guide that came with the mobo.

The answer is in this thread on Crucial forums. He simply had Drive Compression on.

He was reffering to Penumbra's benchmark in this post, not yours, skwannabe. So nothing to worry about. Just switch to Intel ports and report the new results. Good luck!

Fill out your sig so we can see what hardware you have. Also let us know what chipset drivers you are using, which SATA ports etc. That'll help with a diagnosis.
