Then its hard to say but I remember having 30MB read before I upgrated drivers. But this was a fresh install with latest firmware 00007 but there was no performance increase from 00006 and the garbage collection is really good so I dont think it should lower the read so much but you can always try wipe the drives and reinstall from backup.

Are you sure both drives are connected to Sata3 ports because we have the same IntelICH10R controller and your seq read is like you have it on Sata2 speed.

It should be those last 2 red connectors for Sata3 ports.

My drives are on the SATA2 ports, i have heard nothing but bad things about the SATA3 controller used on my board, most people say that the 4k is better on my Intel controller than the SATA3 controller on my board

And this is correct, sir! Marvell SATA III should be avoided.

I got the M4 today with my new rig. This is what I get when connected to Intel 6GB/s.

I'm wondering if I should change to the Marvell 6GB/s? Which is better?

No, avoid Marvell! But your speed can be improved. First, update firmware here:
http://www.crucial.com/support/firmware.aspx

Secondly, install Intel driver here:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...&DownloadType=

Good luck!
