AS SSD Benchmark thread - Page 146

So I changed controllers, from Marvell to Intel, and these are the benchmarks...how would you compare these two settings? With RST, the results are not what I expected. How is this so?

Hey, I just got a OCZ Summit Series drive, 60 gb, from a friend. I understood before I bought it that it was an older drive and I didn't mind because I got it for a very good deal.

I just did some benchmarks though and was wondering how the performance looks.

Test 1:
Minimum: 148.8 MB/sec
Maximum: 246.7 MB/sec
Average: 235.7 MB/sec
Access Time: 0.1 ms
Burst Rate: 154.2 MB/sec
CPU Usage: -1.0%

Test 2:
Minimum: 148.6 MB/sec
Maximum: 247.6 MB/sec
Average: 236.6 MB/sec
Access Time: 0.1 ms
Burst Rate: 155.0 MB/sec
CPU Usage: -1.0%

Test 3:
Minimum: 148.5 MB/sec
Maximum: 247.6 MB/sec
Average: 236.6 MB/sec
Access Time: 0.1 ms
Burst Rate: 156.3 MB/sec
CPU Usage: -1.0%

I used HD Tune.

I figured making a thread was a waste since we have a benchmark thread right here, but if I am wrong then feel free to delete this or tell me I am a bad person.

HD Tune is not good for SSDs. ATTO is probably the best. There is a new one you could try Anvil SSD Benchmark
