My new Samsung 830 128GB, with Intel RST driver and mobo chipset drivers installed:

Without any drivers the score was 698.

Looks fine to me smile.gif

Just installed a new samsung 830 yesterday, went through Sean's installation guide and everything. The drive seems really slow.... at least based off AS benchmark.

I'm assuming this means I'm not on Sata3? I thought I properly installed it... is there any way to check. Or what else the issue might be? Because read speeds are really slow

Intel 320 2x80GB Raid 0
One SSD is a 11 month old Gen 2, used as OS partition, the other is a new, Gen 3 SSD - see sig rig.

4x Samsung 830 Series 64GB RAID0
501

This is what I came up with tonight on my new workstation. My board divided the 4 SATA3 ports into two separate channels so I can't group all 4 at SATA 6Gb/s so this is 2-SATA3 2-SATA2.

So I have an older SSD. And I still notice that I have a super fast windows boot.
Are these scores too low considering the SSD that I have?

I had a lot of Word documents/tabs/PDF's open when I ran it so maybe I should close them. But I don't see why that would affect it.

It's indeed very low. But it's great that you still notice fast boot. Open files don't affect the score, unless you were doing some copying in the process.
