Can I assume RAPID is on?
How about a run with it off please.

No Rapid for me I am on Gigabytes Intel Raid 0 I tried multiple times trying to get it to non-raid in Gigabytes bios so I can use Samsung Magician Software but it has to be in a non raid for it to work..

It says AHCI Mode only for it to work. I'm sure there is a registry hack for it but I plan on moving to another mobo soon Z97 so I gave up.
See picture below it shows my Intel Raid 0 but the only thing I can do is run a benchmark all other are not available.

What is the best SATA III SSD drive that one can get right now? 128-256GB in capacity, that is.

My Intel 335 180GB Jay Crest. My first SSD. I'm using Asmedia 106x SATA on AsrockZ77 Extreme 4 ACHI mode. I have an old HDD as a storage drive. Ive been reading about people using Raid drivers and wondering if I should have used Raid drivers? I always thought I had to use Raid for 2 Identical drives. I'm also guessing this is about as much as I can squeeze out of this drive unless I use CDM with 0 Fill.
