Voodoo 2 sent me the internal parts of his Silverstone Temjin TJ-07 to powdercoat Raven Black. Cost: $150 plus shipping.
Before I could have the parts powdercoated I had to prep them by removing any stickers or other stuck-on parts and I also had to strip the chrome from the motherboard tray and HDD caddy bases and PCI plates using my blast cabinet and 50 Micron Aluminum Oxide at 60 PSI. I took the spindles off the HDD caddy bases as they are too small to coat properly and I took apart any assemblies to make sure every surface got properly coated.
Have a look at the Before Shots:

Voodoo 2 shipped me the parts in an oversized box...that got crushed in transit.

He used about a bazillion plastic bags for packing material...these don't work nearly as well as you might think...

Luckily the parts arrived undamaged.

He bundled all the parts to limit shifting during transit, always a good idea.

The parts are all raw aluminum except as noted above so they were pretty much ready for coating...pretty much.

Little things like this need to be cleaned to bare metal...which is part of what you pay for when you send me parts.

I guess he had to bend the mobo tray to fit a certain mobo. I addressed this issue by cutting away the bent material and deburring the edges.

Mobo tray in the blast cabinet getting the chrome stripped.

More blasting.

Another part stripped of chrome...the PSU mounting bracket.

The mobo tray prepped.

HDD caddy bases stripped/
And now some After Pictures:

And there you have it, ready to ship.
