Why are these things so dang expensive, I'm looking at a laptop with a 3.4EE in it for $1899.99 on advertisement, and a 1.8ghz Centrino for $2999.99 on sale (pretty much the same specs) Explain whyyy? And could we use these, apparently godly, CPU's for PC's?

I bought two of these because for $7, why not. First of all, these definitely move more air than the fans that came with my Cooler Master case. Furthermore, they move more air than my Cooler Master...

I replaced a loud fan in my Cooler Master Elite 430 with this. The other fan moved about the same amount of air with a far louder, higher RPM (I assume) device. This fan has a cool-looking metal...

Cost wise the chip is over $500 cheaper the a 3.4 EE. The chipset is quite a but more expensive and their are features built into it that are nicer then Pen 4's. The Centrinos are usaully quite a but smaller so they do have parts that are slightly higher speced, but most of the extra price is marketing and market demand.

centino pentium m can last up to 100C so temps aren't a problem to be worried about while as the p4 have temp problems and laptops have bad cooling so yea i don't think that laptop that is 3k is worth it
