It would seem we have a new engineer, guess I can finally take that vacation in The Pitt I've been saving up for.

Btw TestE, make Unstableiser Chief of Security, the guy's got nothing to do but waltz up and down in his spiffy SS uniform, it's driving me nuts.

Whoa hold your horses. "Manly guns" is merely a colloquial term used to refer to the vast armory of available weaponry on the Nexus. Just ask and you shall receive (i.e. assault rifles, sniper rifles, MGs, guns for enemies, gun packs, specific guns, etc.).

Well sure, but helpful, it wasn't. Now, are these mods transferable to the DLC's, because you are stripped of everything in OA. Also, I think FOOK is wreaking havoc with hit detection or something.

And using the knief is just futile. I don't get it. Is it the mods that are interferring here, or am I just noobus maximus?
Ditch FOOK

20th Century Weapons. Get it. Enjoy.

Yup. You get them back, and the factions therein *should* use 20th weaponry. I'm not so sure about the soldiers in the OA sim, but I know the outcasts outside the sim use them.

Also, I shall sum up FOOK for ya.

FOOK = a random collection of Nexus mods haphazardly thrown together without any concern for compatibility with anything. Every part of FOOK you like you can find elsewhere on the Nexus, with none of the compatibility issues.

FOOK is, at it's core, a crash-to-desktop generator.

I'm astonished at how popular such a crappy mod has become. I guess people are too lazy to pick and choose so instead they spend all that extra energy troubleshooting.

You say that like it's the only decent weapon mod there is...

How about Frederyk's Tactical Guns? Or eXcalibr Gun Shop? Or individual gun mods which tend to be pretty damn good?

Tacticool guns are a dime a dozen in 90% of PC shooters. A little variety never hurt anyone

Got it. It's a decent supplement for 20th but I'm not uninstalling 20th for it. Again the lack of variety is a bummer.

My lightsabers and crowbars are proof enough that you can find the odd good one standalone.

i did Operation Anchorage last night and while it was very good it was also handy enough except for the last dude with the sword that just talks jibberish, the best way of doing it forget the stealth boy and use the sniper rifle just pick them off before they even know your there

how i beat the last dude was just keep running around the barb wire and shooting him as sometimes he gets stuck.lol

i need some of these manly weapons your talking about after trying to shoot the heads off those tribal dudes they seem too tough for my shotgun.

is there a program for running the mods or do you need to replace files?

Installing mods is easy.

First, download and install FOMM. Then, the mods. Copy mods to Fallout 3/Data, check the mod in FOMM, first time you will want to turn off invalidation in FOMM, then you hit Launch fose in FOMM. Bam, modded game is modded.
