Fomm is confusing?

You order mods from top to bottom in the correct order then check the little boxes. Bam, load order set.

Sigh. But all the mods get messed up in the data folder. Speaking of the data folder, I just deleted it again, going to redownload with Steam and re-re-re-reinstall all mods....................pain.

Hi Max.

My name is Francisco d'Anconia* and I'm addicted to spurting people's brains out with silenced weapons. It's sooo addictive! Can't help myself. Problem is, I can't get my fix because all teh modz are crashing my game.

*Well, Steam name, anyway.

Go and download Fallout 3 Edit. You should be able to find it somewhere on Nexus. If not, GOOGLE!!!
That program will tell you what is wrong with your load order in FOMM. Then it will let you create a merged patch for the game, which is supposed to increase stability in the game. I haven't noticed it though

I much prefer sitting back half a mile away on a rocky outcrop(Number 935890476989878904670678054 is my favorite, by the way) and plinking away with an M82. It's absolutely hilarious when I'm running the mod Responsive Kill Reactions. I'll pop one of their heads like a damn zit and the 9 or 10 uglies nearby will start looking in the immediate area(No bigger than 200 yards away from the kill). As soon as my status goes back to [HIDDEN] I repeat.

Trolling super mutants never gets old.

Oh, erm, RKR is a mod that kinda fixes a huge oversight. See, in the Vanilla game, a sneak crit kill does NOT alert any nearby enemies to your presence. Even if the dumb bastards are RIGHT NEXT to the person you killed. RKR fixes that, now the dying NPC sends out a "HOLY HELL I GOT KILLED" to his buddies, who then try to find and kill what attacked their dead friend. WONDERFUL immersion mod.

Man, I remember when I first played and thought the noise those objects made actually drew attention to me.

TBH they should.

Oh, protip: Abuse the physics engine if you want to kill someone but don't want to piss the whole faction they belong to off. empty barrels work best, simply bump into the barrel to launch it like a rocket.

Eh...not so much. I ran it and it tried to put Fallout3.esm halfway down the list, said it had no idea what to do with 20th Century and tried to put the MMM ESM below the MMM ESPs.

lol I suck at FPS and I've beat the game on hard without using VATS. You don't need TGM if you're a sneaky sumbit with a sniper rifle.

It's almost as if Bethesda wants you to be a sniper. Charging headlong into the enemy is going to get you killed faster than you can say "Vault 101", and it guarantees you're going to look like every other tin can wearing dipstick in the wasteland on account of everyone using the same four or five suits of Power Armor , but a good, high-powered sniper rifle and a well hidden perch means you can clear out massive swathes of the wasteland without taking a single HP worth of damage. It's a one-way ticket to a Jet and Psycho addiction, a severe case of PTSD and a power armor collection that rivals the Brotherhood.

I think it's the most up to date version... Then again, DUI is no longer on Nexus, so I could be wrong.
