alright right now i have these, and so far i think the game is great, which i've really only done the tutorial and shot up some coyottes but still, im gonna install that one in a moment when it downlaods, thanks

FalloutNV.esm
Purge Cell Buffers.esp
pnv.esp
noautoaim.esp
Fellout.esp
BetterGamePerformanceV4.esp

It runs much much better than Fallout 3 did even without the performance mods im using, which have no visual impact but do improve performance, i put AA to 8x and AF to the max of 15x, and i havent gone below 60 frames not once

Cool. You got the noautoaim mod too.

Just checked my mods and mostly all I have worth mentioning would be the various weapon packs that I've got. Not sure if you're into that though but I believe the two I have can not be used at the same time. I'd have to double check.

In fact, I really should do a clean install of my copy of NV since I mucked it up with the Requiem mod. Cool mod but not 100% quality execution, unfortunately.

If you plan on using the included, vanilla weapons only... maybe look up one of various weapon mod (ingame mods for guns. ie: extended clips, silencers, etc) expansions. I have one that is really cool and useful. It pretty much makes it so all the weapons in the game can get all or most of the mod types in the game. Before, certain weapons only had certain mods.

Yeah, I run the game ssmmmoooottthhh on my sig rig with everything maxed out sans AA. I had that at 8x and it looked great but there was just this super minimal ...I guess I'd call it a lag but it was really subtle but enough that I could feel a difference between 4x and 8x. So I just stuck with 4x as it still looks great but (at least on my computer) seems more responsive.

Have fun with the first parts of the game. I really enjoyed the first several hours of NV. Watch out for packs of wolves and geckos while you venture out. They are pretty weak but in large groups they can do decent damage to a low level character.

Huge warning for you. BEWARE of Cazador's if you have not seen one yet.

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Cazador

There is a valley very near Goodsprings that will have a good half dozen of these. One single sting from one WILL kill you. They have a wicked poison that sucks up HP fast. Can only be countered with anti-venom. You may have found some early, you may have none. If you seen one, kill it immediately or run your ass off. Really. Also, radscorpions seem significantly tougher in this game than in FO3 and even in that they were a b***h. Again, there is a valley very close to Goodsprings where you will run into probably more than a dozen.

Take care out there in the wasteland.

Playing through for a third time, now with the add-ons. Had Veronica
hold my Heavy Incinerator and some Flamer fuel for me, She's an awesome
little fire bug, try outfitting her with this weapon. Only problem- keeping her supplied with flamer fuel....

lol, thanks for teh advice but i already encountered them, killed the first 3 or so and and the robot helped, then about a million of them came after me, i ddint go back up there after that

BTW im playing it on hardcore mode i like the realism it adds

I agree that the radscorpions are much more difficult...lol im kinda worried for when i find some super mutants, but the first thing i did after the tutorial was free prium form the convicts, didnt get too messed up either, died 3 times i think, and for being level 2 at the time i dont think that was bad.

The NoAutoAim helps a lot since i dont ever remember firing a m16 that couldn't hit a target at 50 feet away so ya.
