It was just the shock value that got me, there.

As an act of remembrance (To TestE), and as a senior member of this vault, i ask that you ensure that the title remains spelled wrong, for the duration of your stay here.

He never really explained it, i always just assumed that us bolded members were either "Preferred" members or the most common on the thread.

Another thing. Have you guys had better luck with the steam version or retail version of both FO3/NV?

I'm not sure about 'not liking' but I know the Gamebryo engine doesn't really use any more than one (possibly two) cores. These games benefit from a high clock speed. That being said, I play FO3/NV on my Asus G73 laptop (sig) and it uses a quad core i7 and it runs great. Even with mods I get smooth fps with everything maxed to full. Sometimes I get dips in fps in detailed areas with lots of people (I used MMM) and all hell breaking loose but its very playable.

Just reinstalled both FO3 and NV after not playing them since sometime during the summer. Started a brand new character in FO3 and hope to play it all out. Although with Wanderers mod, I'm getting my ass kicked left and right.... and by Raiders. Yeesh! tongue.gif

I did too until i changed that
My Fallout_Default.ini

place it in the main directory (Backup the default one first), and see if that fixes any of the crashes.

You may have to change the res as i only have a 1680x1050 monitor not 1080p like most on here.
