played FEAR for the first time today, and I don't know if I can be bothered to finish it. I don't find it scary at all, just extremely annoying with the random slow bits and "suspense" music not letting me hear the enemies footsteps round the corner. Very dissapointed, plus the fact it looks like Deus Ex with smoother edges, but plays 10 times worse
just turn off the music, that's what i do in every game i play. i tihnk it tones down the mood of the game.

the soundtrack is quite good though, just not good for playing.

HL2 soundtrack is pretty good too

I agree on that part, it's like in max payne, with all the annoying, walk around in a hall in slow motion for some minutes

I loved the music, it was superb! But that's just my opinion, obviously not everyone agrees...but it was just so different...not the usual techno/rock 'futuristic' type music usually accompanied with games of this genre, a real mix of beats and some ****ed up sounds heheh

And hermit, lurve the avatar, probably the greatest ****ing cartoon ever lol

Yeah i agree with you on that one..personally for a game to be good aswel it has to have a good music score.
