Crappy HP over the counter needs speed

Thread Starter
Hey guys, new to this, i just recently rediscovered two mistakes i made!!
1. loosing my interest in computers for a few years (i have a lot of catching up to do)
2. buying the same computer i wanted to build.
So, i was looking at building a machine, but needed one asap so i bought an HP amd 64 3500+ (check specks)
and now i want to know what the best way to overclock it is?
i know HP does some crap to their bios so im screwed there. is there a windows based program that can remove that bios? or am i stuck.
i have speed fan downloaded and some other monitoring equipment. i just wanna make this thing as fast as possible until i can build a new system this summer. I also dont wanna fry the cpu/mobo as i still do need it for school. but... well i know im at the right place and EVERYONE here can understand my point of view... (we were all new once right, and make mistakes with computers.... stupid HP)

well both intel and amd have a new processor line coming out soon in a few months, and supposidly its gonna be a good fight to whom is the best again... the new conroe intels are sounding like some super chips, but same with the new amd cores....
so i would say just wait a few months if you can and grab up one of these new chips, they are supposidly very fair priced too....
