reformat

I decided to reformat because my comp is stuff with useless stuff, but when I put in the windows xp cd and restart my comp my cd drive doesn't auto boot it. why?! it auto booted the last time i reformated.

is your bios set to boot from the cd? if you go into the bios when it starts and change the order it boots from and put your CDROM drive first before the floppy or hard drive
