Wow Someone has taken the Troll spot ^

I am think about getting one of these what do you guys think? I haven't been keeping up on any of the charts or anything but my guess is one of these EVGA 480's would blow my 2 5770's out of the water?

I love my 480 even if it does run a little warm...but sufficient cooling fixes that.

I always thought it created a security risk so i never port forwarded. Has to be another way to fix the issue.

480's are good and will blow your 5770's out of the water.

Or you can go with 2 460's *can be found for $180* which is even better and they dont get as hot.

Opening up holes in the firewall can pose a security risk if the program listening on that port can be exploited. The chances of someone hacking you directly anyways are slim to none. Firewalls stop hackers, who really only hack places with information and money to be stolen from. A homeowner should be safe as there is no reason for a hacker to want in.

See above. And no, if the firewall on the PC or Gateway (router-modem combo) is blocking you then it's blocking you. You either forward the port through the firewalls, or enjoy it not working.

My experience with this game however has shown me that even when everything is forwarded properly through the firewalls, it still doesn't work 70% of the time. It's an issue with the lame ass DRM, and I've considered hacking the game just to get it to play via Tungle with no issues. I only wanna play with people I know anyways.

I loved the game, but the lame ass DRM ruins the fun. I'm glad I only payed $1 for it, because otherwise it isn't worth the headache.

Ubisoft can go die in a hole with their DRM.
