Blue screen of death

Thread Starter
Ok ive overclocked my x2 4800 to 2.59 with a 216 fsb and my voltage is 1.325. My temps are good 32C idle and 48C load. But every so often i get the blue screen of death where it says my computer "has shut down to prevent damage to my computer" My question is why it's doing that when my overclock and whatnot is so small?? What can I do to stop it and continue to increase my oc. I want to be able to oc to 3ghz if i can but i know ill need more cooling which is another issue.

Temps should be lower with that cooling @ that vcore... make sure the FHS is seated correctly because you will need to up the vcore a bit for stability.

yeah i have reseated the HS and reapplied As5 as often and im only getting those temps, which are decent because i have the side of my case off. I dont know why my temps aren't lower without doing that. I know the max temps range for my cpu is 49C-65C. What should i raise my voltage to? I dont wanna fry my cpu...

Well most value ram is not going to OC like you want it to. You will have to run a divider if you want to oc the proc more.
