So i shut system down and reinstalled V/C. Booted again and it whined like crazy again. I sat back trying to figure out what i did wrong and low and behold.
I FORGOT TO PLUG IN VIDEO CARD ((molex power connector))

Just a thought and yes it happens to best of us
Nah I wish that was it. I plugged it in then unplugged it then plugged it in again and still nothing; just whinning.

Did you try a different molex plug?
Maybe that one is dead.

won't be the driver. that load beep indicates the card isn't getting enough power. Whats your PSU? You may need a more powerful one, or your card's connector might be dead.

the molex that you are using is a line by itself and nothing else connected to it? do you have a buddy that you can install the card in his machine to see if it's really dead?

Exactly I do the same thing. I run a single plug harness to my card and all others harnesses run the other hardware.

we didn't have the Molex connector in a 6600GT and the card worked fine, until we tried to play games.

Yes, because that card draws less power.

That was the issue. I saw the fan running and thought "ok power". I had to run through almost every molex connector in my case. Thanks all reps coming your way!!!!!!!!!
