Well, range also has a lot to do with the router. I always go with D-link.

Don't be at all surprised if you get no signal or utterly terrible throughput rates. I don't recomend this setup at all. Sending the signal from one house to another will hurt the quality pretty bad. Home wireless products aren't really any good past 100 or 150 feet, no matter what the box says, and anything past that, especially going through walls will probably be pretty slow.

The farther away, the slower it goes.
There is not enough of the same information on each card at NewEgg to tell for sure which is best.

You can buy antennas, boosters and repeaters to increase range.
I added a Hawking antenna to my router to get full power to all corners of my house. You will need more than that to play games.

The bottom line is this setup will be less than ideal for gaming no matter what you do. You could go through the trouble of installing an outdoor antenna on your roof and all kinds of crap, but the best thing to do is install broadband in the other house.

depends on the router. There's a lot of variables. Go with a D-link card and just try it. But as was said, don't expect high throughput.
