Is Elpida DDR3 ram good? And would you recommend overclocking it?

Hey guys, I just got 8GB of DDR3 Elpida ram clocked at 1333Mhz. It has these chips listed in this data sheet: http://www.elpida.com/pdfs/E1494E60.pdf

Seeing that the voltage is 1.5V stock on these ram sticks, do you think an overvolt to 1.65V and overclock of 1600Mhz be safe for these sticks? I also bought some really cheap heat spreaders for a buck a piece. I figure if I am going to be overclocking them heat spreaders would possibly help out.

The sticks are OEM Elpida sticks.

I also read online that a lot of OCZ sticks are dying and a lot of them are using overclocked Elpida chips so I was worried about longevity of these sticks considering they are OEM and carry no warranty.

And on a side note, I also got 6GB OCZ DDR3 1333Mhz ram which apparently has 1066Mhz chips in them overclocked to 1333Mhz.

Is this ram good? And how is the warranty?

Oh and one more question, would you run 8GB of the Elpida DDR3 stuff in dual channel or 6GB of OCZ in triple channel? I read there is almost no difference between triple and dual channel.

It seems as though the BDSE (D) is a later die revision than BBSE (B). Why would a later die revision perform worse than an older one? I thought it was the other way around. And based on some reviews, my OCZ 1333MHZ kit is made out of Elpida 1066Mhz chips.

Well I already have the OCZ ram and Elpida chips in hand. I was wondering which ones I should keep.

What's weird is that the OCZ set with pretty nice platinum heat spreader which is really hefty gets much hotter than the uncovered Elpida sticks. This is running at the same speeds and voltage.

I was able to get the OCZ kit to 1600mhz CL8 on 1.60V though. The stock ratings are CL7 1333Mhz at 1.65V
