Overclocking my comp

Thread Starter
hey, i am new to overclocking... and i want to over clock my comp.. I have an older comp. It is
AMD athlon 2600+, DFI (ad77) motherboard, 512 mb of ram, and e-GeForce fx5200 graphics card.
i have been trying all morning but i have been really unsuccesful. I want a program that will show me the temp my graphics card/processor and a program that will let me overclock them. If you could help me by listing what programs/drivers i need that would be awsome.Thank you.

for OCing your videocard, download and run coolbits, then go into your nvidia utility and there will be a "clock frequncy" option, use that to overclock your gpu, and i like speedfan... but use everest to tell you what temps are whatin speedfan...

you can also use rivatuner for OCing the gpu

Go down to the NVidia display tab, click on your monitor and look for the clock frequency settings tab. You should be able to set if from there.

just right click on your deskto, then go to nvidia display, then your manitor model... then on the left side you should see the tab after you run coolbits...
