Yes, the x975 doesn't support it yet which is a big downside, but they are the #1 Ocing chip from intel, read this thread, 780ES Dothan @ 4GHz.
For the Cedar mill benchies, read this thread.

So a Dothan is a good desktop build huh? I didn't know that. I bet the Yohan will smoke it!

Yeah. LN2 and Phase.

Dothan only excels at 3DMark01Se.

SuperPI: Dothan @ 4.0ghz and P4 @ 7.0ghz, both equal 18.xxx secs. yet on LN2 and Phase-change. I guess it's safe to say that either is equally inaccessible for most of us.

Dothan is not a good desktop CPU, it's hard to overclock on pure air and have to be real careful not to damage the CT-479 adapter. It's only good for SuperPI and 3DMark01SE, other than that, a P4 @ 4.2ghz can keep up with a Dothan @ 2.6-to-2.7ghz on those areas, but the rest of programs? it's laughable.
Yonah in the other hand, would be a killer of a Desktop CPU, except CONROE is what'll be better than Yonah and that, we will see in the desktop platform.

Either way, I'm getting me a 960 first, before any Conroe.

Yonah matches a AMD 939 dual core clock for clock.

Dothan wins in games.. And thats basically it. It falls behind in the majority of other Multimedia benchmarks. So you cant say it creams it. Depends on the application. And plus Dothan is a bad investment now, no PCI-E boards that are even worth it.

Edit: Nasgul, a Dothan is a good gaming cpu, beating even AMD. But like I said, falls behind in most other multimedia tasks.

Likely yes. But only by 2 fps or so. But then youll find it slower in almost everything else. And besides, if you want to find memory that works with the board/chip and buy a adapter and buy a $250 PCI-E mobo then be my guest, but really, its not worth it. at all.

Well I would still wait for AM2 to come out before you buy off of speculation. A 32W dual core is planned for it .
