Plus I'm still really rusty at CoD after a term of not playing

As I said, I'll post pics and you guys can help... never done this before!
My brother has a nice 19" LG, the problem is his PC is holding it back

I hate bad mouses, sometimes i think i'm the only one with a good mouse

A pic of the BIOS would be perfect, i love the ASUS bios layouts

AFTER my TV and COD... lol, TV is on, bye bye!

EDIT: It says "Finished without errors in 45m 3s"... I'm going to up it to 3.3ish and run another 50 passes while I watch sea patrol

Fing Windows! That's why it lagged, it decided to download 76 freaking updates without asking!

EDIT 2: I am at 3335MHz, NB is at 2300, Ram is at 1533...

Not going to go higher until I get RAM sorted...

Sorry for double post, but this worries me...

Everest says that the CPU vcore is 1.5v...

According to AMD, it should be around 1.35 @ stock, and a 400MHz OC isn't really going to change it that much, is it?

you left your voltage on auto? take it off now, you don't want it choosing your voltage for you.

BTW, put your voltage on your VID (should be on the box) and put the FSB up until it becomes unstable. That'll give you a nice OC for the summer

To get a slightly higher OC (3.8ghz perhaps?) put the FSB up to that speed that up the voltage until it becomes stable. Thats how i do my OC'ing and it works a treat

Ok, I have set everything back to default... here is a pic, however, of the BIOS before I did that...

Firstly, the screen entitled "CPU Configuration"

Now, the screen entitled "JumperFree Configuration"

Halp?

ok, firstly, damn, you'd got a C2

secondly, your voltage control is the CPU over voltage control, set it to 0 to get your VID if i remember correctly. Its basically an addition system for changing the voltage, add the voltage onto your base voltage to get a new one

As for the ram, can you select its speed in the DRAM frequency? Try using the + and - keys or pressing enter and selecting the speed it you can. Either of them should work

No... when it was on 1467 the next option down was something like 1100ish...

I can't check because I'm out but I will change it back and check when i get home...

EDIT: Should I set everything with voltage in it's name to "0"? Just to ensure there is no insane voltage travelling through my system?

so change your FSB and multiplier until you get it to around where you want it to be?

Yeah, leave everything at 0. This'll stop you frying anything (perfect for when you start off, although i would mess with the CPU voltage just a bit until you reach the highest temps you'd be comfortable with).
