You could flash from the 8500LE to a regular 8500. Both use the R200 core, their would be a slight performance boost. The regular 8500 has slightly faster core and memory clocks, 25MHz more on each compared to the 8500LE. (275MHz core/ 275MHz memory) From flashing to the regular 8500 you would gain a 100 more Shader operations, 100 more M/pixel pixel fill rate, 100 more M/texels texture fill rate. The only problem with this operation would be finding a regular 8500/128bit/128MB/ BIOS!
