Yep. could be good to actually make a Users folder (with User name folders) on the other drive, so it doesn't get too messy (unless some of the users actually share folders)

Remember you could use one of the other guides to move the whole user folder, but then you don't benefit from the quick RANDOM performance of your SSD on small files in your user "AppData" folder... The main reason I didn't want to move my whole user folder.

I don't know, I think you can only move the special folders that have the "location" tab in their properties dialog...

I personally wouldn't move the "Favorites" folder if I used IE, since it's full of small (less then 4k) URL files... so benefits from the fast read speeds of an SSD, and doesn't take up any space hardly...
(since I don't use IE, it doesn't really matter to me.)

Also, same deal with the Desktop folder, only move it if you're one of those people that stores everything on your desktop, if it's just got shortcuts in it, you're better off having it on the SSD for speed.

How about the \\Program File and \\Program Files (x86) folders? Any easy way to move/link these folders? Would you use a symlink?

Well personally I wouldn't move them myself, since that's the point of an SSD to to speed up your programs...
Remember you can choose where to install a program, when you install it.

But if you wanted to, I believe there is a guide around here somewhere, otherwise you might be able to use a Junction/Symlink/Hardlink or something..

An excellent tool for editing/viewing hardlinks, junctions, symlinks etc:

On my W7 PC I moved my Music folder to a different drive. From C to D using a W7 tool to do the move. Everything is perfect in my iTunes, the music plays and all the info and Album Art covers are OK.
However, on my iPod touch, although the music is all there and plays correctly, the Cover Flow just shows the Note icon. No album art. I tried all kinds of syncing but it does not show up.
Please help.
Thanks

ok.

So.

You moved your Music folder, using a W7 tool? what tool?

Was it using the instructions here, using the Location tab?

Also how does iTunes/iPod troubleshooting end up in a thread like this?

Yes I used the Location as explained in this forum.
Asking about the iTunes is out of desperation.
