Please help, high temps for pc.

Thread Starter
I have an FX-55 at 1.6volts overclocked to 2750mhz. It about 35-37 idle on a normal warm day, 55-57 on full load, i think this is to hot, im using a Zalman 9500LED at full RPM, i decided to lap my heatsink and cpu yesterday up to 1200grit, it didnt effect the temperatures at all. Im using arctic silver 5 and ive used about half a bb of thermalpaste. I have a rear 120mm outtake fan which the zalman is blowing the air out of, i have 2 80mm intake fans on the side, and a 120mm intake fan on the front. My psu has two fans, one that extracts fron the bottom and another blows out the back.

Yeah, your temps may actually go up short-term, but if you turn you computer on and off normally, it should take about a week and your temps will go down 3-5C minimum AFAIK.
