Hmm,Can anyone tell me why (cpuz-asus_probe-every_processor_ info_program_known_to_man)says my processor's max speed is 3600mhz,Yet i just overclocked it to 3800mhz and ran prime95 for 10 hours with no problem at all.I've had it like this for a day now without a problem.I'm not complaining as this is very nice but i don't see why they say this.

I might be wrong, but I think the rating applies to the max speed of CPU your motherboard is supposed to be able to take. Check the CPU compatibility list for your motherboard and see if the max speed of CPU on that list is the same as on these various programs.

My motherboard is rated up to 3600MHz (I think) but I can o/c my CPU to 4.3GHz...

Highly-Annoyed

Hey you might be on to something. I have a p4p800se and i know thats not the best 478 mobo in the world.I might mention i tried a suicide overclock to 4ghz the other day and to my surprise it BOOTED ALL THE WAY INTO WINDOWS then it crashed, so obviously the "max speed" was pretty close to how high it can go.
