Nice Advice Dude!

Good thing that I have yet to do the voltmod myself. Was going for the simple solder till I read your advice about having some solder legs stick-up. Kinda smart idea to have the option of being able to undo the voltmod.

Damn, I tryed to do it with a pencil but no luck. And the led kept flying around. Crappy s***. Also im not good @ soldering so I can't attempt it. I don't even know where the iron is. Anything else I can do to get it to work, or am I out of luck?

A Silver coductive pen for circuit repair may be just the ticket. Also, rear window defoger repair kits wor too! Those were the wepon of choice in the old socket a bridge mod days.

An example of the pen, some Radio Shacks have them too... usualy $10-15.

Hey Enzo,

I thought you had dissappeared?! Good to see the starter of this thread back in the fold. I am a relative new comer, but since I got this board and saw this thread, it is the greatest thing.

Dude, you are asking to fry your board/card. you should never have anything floating around your case. I am a little hesitant to try the Vcore mod, since 1 mistake and that coud be potentially be the whole card and board. But anyway, good luck. I know the board is not that expensive but my VC was NZ$400 then. The MB is not that easy to find now either (at least in my country), since it is an old board and asrock sold out to Nvidia.

Anyways, good to hear from you Enzo.
