Go to Device Manager, see if you can see your USB ports.

If so, try double clicking on them if they've got yellow exclamation marks next to them and selecting the top radio buttons

Just wait a little till the others give their advice. But I think you may have to reinstall(reformat) your windows, preferrably with windows xp sp2 installer(the one that is instantly SP2). Just don't rush into this yet. I am familiar with problems like that, though I am not completely sure in your case. Wish you some good luck and a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everybody!

Did another voltmod and this time the board took my X2 4400 to 2.8GHz at 1.55V, 2.72GHz. at 1.525V and 2.6GHz at 1.475V! Since I'm running my CPU only on stock cooler, I decided to stay conservative at 2.6GHz. Lucky though my cool case helps the HSF a lot with all its large fans.

I would just like to say this maybe the best motherboard I've ever bought!

Yes they do. Got the same instructions from there but you should look at the faq thread. At the first page you will find an updated version of the voltmod. In my case, I checked the voltage settings in my bios and it can only go as high as 1.4V unlike the example in your sticky where the bios has a 1.45V option. The updated voltmod table has my kind of bios voltage and i picked the one where I can set the voltage from 1.425V to 1.55V by grounding vid3 with sgnd. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

I hope I am welcome in this thread... the Dual-Vsta is pretty much the same board with a different bios

Anyhoo

I am running a Socket 939 Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego Stepping ada3700DAA5bn KAB2E 0545cpmw 13588 19k 51685

Two 512mb sticks of OZC DDR400 dual channel premium which I then changed the timings to their higher level brand... not quite sure but stock its 2.5,3,3,7 and if you cannot see it is now 2,3,3,6

My video card is an Ati X800XL with default clocks of 399/489 overclocked to 508/1208.4 with the help of the fact that the core is actually r420 and the cooler is a Arctic Cooler 4 revision 2 which I had to modify to fit my AIW card.

w00t for me

System runs stable at 1.425V!

Hooray for Asrock

I wanted 7000... so i will get it... in due time

I know that the vcore mod will be in my future... as i wish to stand tall on the big 3ghz mark... i can post at 2.9Ghz... but she wants more juice...

how hard is the vdimm mod?

Would I have to pay a professional to do it for me? Sounds pretty riskay to me.
