What kind of "no lag" are you refering to? There's like a gazillion types of lag and just "lag" doesn't describe much. There's hard drive lag when you run out of memory and you get breif pauses where the hard drive is reading. There's FPS lag where your video card can't render fast enough so you get slow visual response all around. There's network lag where you can be getting high smooth FPS but due to a bad connection you are jumping around or there are delays for things.

My guess is the high volume of ram with a cheap video card means that the game is on low, and is running entirely on physical ram. Also be has a good connection. That's all.
